Every day I travel the 790 back to North Utica from Marcy where the station is located. I've noticed that the road surface is rough and construction signs have been placed along the roadside. Looks like a slow down on I-790 is coming.
Have you seen the sanitation workers along Oriskany Street? Well, get used to it. Oriskany Street between Jason Street and Whitesboro Street, both the eastbound and westbound lanes will be closed at times durning the day Monday thru Thursday and there will also be extended daytime lane closures on Fridays. Expect complete closures overnights.
With gas prices back up to $4 a gallon we aren't traveling as much these days, but if you'll be on the road, it appears that paving and other road work operations will continue through this week.
