Wonderful news Rome pet owners, Sally, the dog we featured a couple weeks ago has been adopted from the Rome Humane Society. Today we'd like to find a home for Binya. Binya is a big, beautiful, 5 year old, spayed female, black and white kitty that can't wait to play with you.

Wonderful news Rome pet owners, Perro, Lily and Salita all have been adopted from the Rome Humane Society. Today we'd like to find a home for Mercury. Mercury came to the shelter at the beginning of December as a stray. She has been waiting very patiently for her forever family so you've got to come meet Mercury soon.

Lily did have a home, but when a new baby came along, she got very upset and scared at the crying so she hid under the bed all the time. Her family decided that they should bring her to the shelter in hopes that she could find a family with no babies or small kids that will alarm her.

Sally is such a pretty girl who likes to talk and go for walks. She'll sniff just about anything that has a smell. She came to the shelter as a stray back on December 12th and has been patiently waiting for a family ever since.

Salita reminds me of a cat I had years ago named Mittens. Mittens started her life out on the streets. Salita had a home once upon a time, but her family moved and left her behind. They lived out in the country, so Salita retreated into the woods and managed to survive on her own for a couple of years!

Spencer is a good natured boy who has so much love to give. He just can't wait to find a home for the holidays. He will even let you dress him up in funny holiday hats! Check out the video to see a festive Spencer.

Criss arrived at the Rome Humane Society back on July 11. As you can see in the video he had some sort of dental disease, but thanks to a generous donor, he was able to have a couple of teeth extracted, and now is doing well. He has completly recovered from his surgery, and just wait until you see his smile now. Criss can't wait to go home with you and show off his smile in your house.

Jasmine came to the Rome shelter as a stray back in mid-September. She was very shy when she first arrived, but she gets braver every day. Once Jasmine trusts someone, she is very loyal and loving with them. Jasmine has been working with their dog trainer and knows some commands like sit and down. She is such a good girl, so take her home with you today!

So what is a tortoiseshell cat? These cats have coats with patches of red, brown or black, chocolate, cream, or cinnamon. Perhaps that's why she's named Cinnabun. The size of the patches can vary from a fine speckled pattern to large areas of color. I can't believe how much Cinnabun looks like our cat Snickers. Their colors will blend into any household decor.

Good news, we were going to feature Melanie at the Rome Humane Society, but, she's been adopted so today we'd like to tell you about Sam. Have you ever wondered what happens to that stray dog you may see walking along the road?  That was Sams situation. Fortunately he was picked up and brought to the shelter and now he's waiting for you.
