'Chasing Shadows' Documentary About NY Shadowchasers Paranormal Group Debuts

Over the last two years leading up to Halloween, we've teamed up with the NY Shadowchasers to host a series of paranormal investigations as fund-raising opportunities for historic sites in Central New York like Rome's Erie Canal Village and the Stone Meeting House in Remsen.

During some of those investigations, local documentarian Geoff Storm was recording a short documentary he's called 'Chasing Shadows.' The 11 minute audio documentary, part of the Utica Firefly series, follows believers and skeptics as they experience a paranormal investigation. Ultimately you, the listener, is left to decide what you believe.

Throughout Central New York there are countless haunted historic sites that have fallen from public recognition. While not every historic site is haunted and not every haunted location is historic there are large numbers of sites that have found their way back into the public consciousness due to their paranormal activity.
