After a cold and snowy winter, you might be wondering what the spring of 2014 had in store for Central New York. The overnight hours of Tuesday April 8 brought our area its first taste of a thunderstorm.

You'll have to excuse our United States Senators if they're too busy doing, um, honestly I'm not sure what they do (kind of like radio personalities) - to follow the college basketball tournament. So it was quite a shock to New York's senior senator Chuck Schumer to learn that the Syracuse Orange were trounced out of the NCAA tournament.
Living in Central New York for the past two decades, I'm really not sure why we all flip out when any amount of snow falls. I for one, love the way it looks while falling, the way it looks as it blankets everything in sight
We have been going through a miserable, snowy, cold Central New York winter. This weather is down right depressing. Don't tell that to this group of Central New Yorkers led by the Syracuse New Times who are 'Happy" to be living in Syracuse New York.
