'Avengers 2′ to Begin Filming in England in Early 2014

'Avengers 2' doesn't hit theaters for over two years but that doesn't mean we can't start looking forward to the biggest sequel in modern movie history. With 'Thor 2,' 'Guardians of the Galaxy' and 'Captain America 2' all filming this year, a start of production on 'Avengers 2' can't be that far off and now we know when it will begin.

Sure, 'The Avengers' was a great movie but there was only one female member (Black Widow) of the superhero team. There are already rumors that Joss Whedon wants to add Wasp to 'Avengers 2' but what if the entire 'Avengers' team was recast as women? Hey, if they can do an all-girl version of 'The Expendables' why not 'The Avengers?' And what if they cast Alison Brie, Sandra Bullock and Amber Heard? It might go a little something like this...

After waiting what seems like years for 'The Avengers' to come out on DVD and Blu-ray, the waiting is almost over as one of the best superhero movies of all-time comes out for purchase on September 25. If you're one of those people who are just trying to kid themselves by thinking you don't need your own copy, maybe this will be more of an incentive -- exclusive 'Avengers' movie posters!

‘The Avengers,’ which hits theaters on May 4th, is the first live-action movie adaptation featuring the complete team of Marvel superheroes.

Or at least we thought it was. But it turns out The Hulk, Captain America, Iron Man and the rest assembled and did battle with Loki in a little known TV movie in 1978. Take a trip in the way back machine and check out this fantastic (and fake) trailer.
