The Wanted are working on a new full-length album for their U.S. fans, and now the U.K. boy band has revealed that they’re collaborating with LMFAO on the project.

Everyone’s taking quite the trip down memory lane lately. First we had the Spice Girls performing at the 2012 Olympic Closing Ceremony, then it was 98 Degrees reuniting on ‘The Today Show,’ and now it’s 98 Degrees again, performing with the Wanted and New Kids on the Block at the first-ever MixTape Festival in Hershey, Penn. We’re not really complaining…

There’s no dispute that the Wanted love their fans. In fact, they love ‘em so much that Nathan Sykes and Tom Parker actually rushed to the aid of a fan who suffered a seizure.

This morning we got a call from Dan O'Hara of the Great NY State Fair and he had some great news. He told us that two more acts will be in the 2012 Grandstand concert series. British pop group The Wanted and comedian and actor Larry the Cable Guy are coming to Central NY. Tickets for both shows will go on sale at 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 14.

The Wanted‘s smash hit ‘Chasing the Sun’ is used twice in the animated flick ‘Ice Age: Continental Drift,’ the fourth film in the mega franchise. The song appears in a scene and during the closing credits. That’s a big screen double dip, so it’s only fair that the boy band recut the video, featuring footage from the film.

Just when you thought that the Wanted/Christina Aguilera feud had simmered down, the boys stoked the fires of discontent.

For most people, standing face first up against a wall usually means they’re about to get searched by police officers or invasive TSA employees. However, for British boy band the Wanted, being forced to stand in this position probably just means that Britney Spears is about to pass by.

Kelly Clarkson and the Wanted on the same bill? The only way that could be sweeter is if there were chocolate involved. And in terms of the 2012 Mixtape Festival, it is.
