Time Magazine released its list of the '100 Most Influential People' for 2015, and it was a little heart-breaking. Some names on the list were well-deserved, but others (*cough* Kanye West) were pretty surprising.

Miley Cyrus is probably the most talked-about person of 2013 -- and usually not in the best way. And now, Cyrus is relaying her headlines into a frontrunner position in Time Magazine's Person of the Year poll for 2013. We bet the people who actually read Time -- you know, her fans' parents -- are just thrilled.

This week’s issue of Time magazine features a cover story on attachment parenting, a controversial form of child-rearing that involves breastfeeding to an older age, co-sleeping and wearing children in slings. It also features a cover image of a mother breastfeeding her three-year-old son that’s sure to raise a few eyebrows.

Time magazine’s annual 100 Most Influential People in the World list is always sure to drum up some discussion and controversy. Only a few singers made the cut this time around, with Adele and Rihanna rightfully receiving the honor.

TIME came up with a list of the Top 100 Most Influential Fashion Icons, dating all the way back to 1923, when the magazine launched. Modern day fashionista Lady Gaga was selected for tally, since her style and her clothes are part and parcel of her image and repertoire as a pop diva.

It makes sense that the masses should decide who has had an influence over them. Perhaps this is the theory behind TIME Magazine’s recent release of its 200-name ballot for its yearly list of the world’s 100 most influential people. A list that includes a variety of well-known people, with both positive and negative personas.

Time Magazine has compiled their list of the most sad movies for kids.  Topping their list is Bambi and, of course, the scene depicting the death of Bambi's mother.  Old Yeller, E.T. and UP are all in the top 5.  See the full list, and for a good cry, check out this compilation of Sad Disney Movie moments.
