My lunch was looking pretty pathetic today until Wendy's stopped by with a delicious lunch. Have you tried Wendy's pretzel bun? It's back for a limited time at Wendy's. Try the Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger or Pretzel Pub Chicken. I opted for the chicken and it was yummy!

Those thunderstorms which moved through Central New York last night sure were strong, causing damage and power outages. The heavy rain, thunder, lightning and high winds were intense and while I had some storm damage at my house, it could've been much, much worse.

What a fun few days I've had with my friend Nettie. She's visiting from Germany. Nettie last visited Central New York fifteen years ago and I was curious if anything had changed, in her eyes, over those fifteen years.  Those of you who complain about our weather will appreciate what my friend had to say.....in German.

Today is Friday the 13th. Does this mean you're worried a black cat will cross your path or you should avoid walking under a ladder? I don't like Friday the 13th because it brings back bad memories of the time my car was stolen. Such a nightmare. Ever since, I've always disliked this day.

Spring is a wonderful season. Warming up from a long, cold winter and watching the flowers bloom. Watching it "snow" pollen outside the Lite 98.7 studios. Now that spring is here and summer is just around the corner, it's almost impossible to avoid road construction. Like me, I'm sure you've seen construction dump trucks bearing signs on the back which read "Construction Vehicle. Do Not Follow." But why can't you follow them? What happens if you do?

When I go in public bathrooms that have hand dryers, I shake my head and wonder why they're still around. Can we just get rid of them once and for all? What's wrong with plain old paper towels? They're a heck of a lot quieter.

Would you ever sleep on a bacon scented pillow? That's right. Bacon. While shopping at Walmart recently, I came across these scented pillows. Yes, the pillow really does smell like bacon. How weird is that? Watch what other scented pillows I discovered.

When I told you recently that I hate spiders, I wasn't kidding. Since I shared that bit of info, spiders are popping up everywhere. I encounter them every day and everywhere, even places I'd never expect. While I used to see spiders, it was never as often as it is now. So imagine my surprise when spiders popped up with fast food lunch. Welcome to my battle with those pesky spiders!
