Taylor Swift is the biggest pop megastar right now, and her 1989 album is still blowing up. But rumors say the singer may be taking a break from music.

Since Taylor Swift hit the country scene back in 2008 with songs like 'You Belong with Me,' and 'Love Story,' it seems like she hasn't taken a break from changing the music industry. After she crossed over to more of a 'pop' star, she has been crushing the charts, and releasing new singles, after new singles, after more new singles.

Last year Taylor Swift released her 1989 album, and it's still going strong - with huge hits like 'Shake It Off,' 'Blank Space,' and 'Bad Blood.' Her 1989 Tour will continue into December, but after that she may be taking a break from music.

It seems like Taylor Swift thinks people may need a little time away from her. According to an interview she did with NME,

...Swift says, “I think I should take some time off. I think people might need a break from me. I’m going to… I don’t know. Hang out with my friends. Write new music. Maybe not write new music. I don’t know.”

The article goes on to say that it really looked like she didn't know what her plans are after 1989 (at least, not yet).

It seems like Taylor Swift has been on-the-go, changing music, writing new music, performing, and everything else in between, since she became such a huge star. You can't blame her for wanting to take a little time out of the spotlight. But will she really take a break? And if she does, do you really think it's going to last that long?
