Great seafood, a legendary salad bar, live music from local favorites, and good times with a Stoli Doli at the bar? Where can you find all that?

Naturally, we're talking about the Hook, Line & Sinker on Seneca Turnpike in New Hartford. It was owned by Dick Zdyb who used to own Zebb's, and still owns Kirby's restaurants in New Hartford and in the Syracuse area. They served their last "fish in a bag" on a Sunday night in October 2010. After 35 years as a popular seafood themed restaurant, the location is now home to Dunkin Donuts.

Former New Hartford resident Ken Moreland recently started a conversation about The Hook in a local Facebook group, and memories started flooding in.

Remember seeing Holmes and Mancini play there weekly! Great happy hour. (Lisa Bates via Facebook)

I had my wedding rehearsal dinner there in 1989! Also loved to hear Holmes and Mancini too! (Louise Cerny Alfredson via Facebook)

So loved it there. Stoli doli..the best (Lori Jane Rivecca via Facebook)

I use to work there in the bar. Great group of people! (Pamela Everett-Mercer via Facebook)

If you want to see the bar from the Hook visit the club house at Barker Brook Golf Club in Oriskany Falls! (Dave Dabro via Facebook)

Do you remember what a Stoli Doli was? Chunks of pineapple soaked in Stoli vodka. And you can still find them today at Kirby's Grill & Taphouse in Yorkville.
