The 2014 Boilermaker Kids Run, Boilermaker Burger Relay And Expo Are This Weekend At MVCC

Sunday is race day. Are you ready for the 37th running of the Boilermaker? Stop by the 2014 Boilermaker Expo this weekend at MVCC's Utica Campus to pick up your race packet and take part in lots of events, including the Boilermaker Kids Run.

The Utica National Kids Run is Saturday morning at 8:15. Registration is Friday from 12-3 at The Boilermaker Expo. The run is a fun way for kids and parents to experience the excitement of the Boilermaker, plus get a t-shirt, gift and refreshments after this non-competitive event.

This weekend is also the Boilermaker Burger Relay. Show your love for the Boilermaker burger and you may be competing against some of your favorite DJs.

The Planet Fitness Heath and Wellness Expo is the place for runners to pick up their Boilermaker race packet. Remember, you must have a photo ID to pick up your packet.

Expo hours are Friday from noon to 7 and Saturday from 8-4:30. There will be live entertainment, race merchandise for sale, a food court, runner's forum, induction ceremony, the famous Boilermaker pasta dinner, child ID program, healthy cooking demonstrations and interactive booths.

Get your runner's carbs at the Boilermaker pasta dinner, Saturday from noon-three at the Expo. Proceeds benefit the United Way of the Valley and Greater Utica Area.

Lots to see and do this weekend during the Boilermaker Expo at MVCC in Utica and it's free and open to the public.
