The Adventures of ‘Ozzie and Harriet’ [VIDEO]

This show goes way back. The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet was a must see on ABC TV from 1952 to 1966. What was unique was that it featured a real life family, The Nelsons. Ricky, who's real name was Eric Nelson, became a huge teen idol in the 50s.

Ozzie & Harriet was the longest running "live action" sitcom in US history. It really did a good job of displaying the ideal American family life of the time.
