We're here to start a big argument. Because isn't that what Christmas is all about?

Most Americans admit to watching at least one Christmas movie with family during the holidays. At least that's what the folks at YouGov.com found out in a recent survey. And then they asked people to name their favorites. The results are bit puzzling. And there was a tie atop the list.

It's a Wonderful Life and A Christmas Story were deadlocked at #1.

The rest of the top five:

  • Home Alone
  • National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
  • Elf

Meanwhile, a discussion that comes up every year: Is Die Hard a Christmas movie? Beth says no; I say yes. And look: that big Bruce Willis movie is on this list. And it got more votes than Love Actually, which I think we all agree IS a Christmas movie.

So, these results leave us more confused than ever. What's your favorite Christmas movie?
