The Demolition Derby at The State Fair Grandstand Set For Labor Day
July 20, 2012 6:26 AM Who doesn’t love to watch cars crunch, bump and slam each other until only one vehicle remains moving. It’s going to happen during the popular Double Figure 8 event, the Demolition Derby, coming to the Great NY State Fair on Labor Day September 3rd.
“The Demolition Derby has appeared on Labor Day at the Grandstand for many years,” said Dan O’Hara, State Fair director. “We look forward to having this favorite among Fairgoers return for another great year.”
General Admission Tickets are $10 each and will be sold only through the State Fair Box Office. This price does not include your admission to the Fairgrounds. The date the tickets will go on sale will be announced as soon as it is available.
The 2012 Great NY State Fair will take place Aug. 23 to Sept. 3.
