The 2014 Great American Irish Festival Is This Weekend At The Herkimer County Fairgrounds

Green, green and more green is what you'll see this weekend at the Great American Irish Festival. This annual event celebrating all things Irish starts Friday July 25th and runs through Sunday the 27th at the Herkimer Fairgrounds. Parking is free.

Everyone is a wee bit Irish at the Great American Irish Festival. There's Irish dancing, Irish culture, plenty of music, vendors with all sorts of Celtic items, the famous bagpipe competition, just about every kind of food you'd want to eat and interesting displays and presentations.

Hours are 5p-11p Friday, noon-11pm on Saturday and noon-5p on Sunday.

The Festival features three different stages: the contemporary stage, the traditional stage and the regional stage, so stop by each one to enjoy something different.
