The Guiness World Record For The Most Christmas Lights Has Been Broken [VIDEO]

If you’ve ever wondered if there is a world record for the most Christmas lights on a house, there is…and it’s been broken. Recently, The Richards family in Canberra, Australia broke the Guinness World Record for the most Christmas lights on a house. The video shows us all 500,000 lights.

The Associated Press tells us that:

The Australian family had already broken the record in 2001; however, in 2012 an American family stole the record from them when they put 346,000 Christmas lights on their home.

Can you imagine the electric bill? An Australian company is in the Christmas spirit as they will pay for the family’s electric bill for the month of December.
