On Wednesday, the New York State Fair announced the remaining three acts in the 2011 Grandstand concert series, Ne-Yo and Cee Lo Green, Selena Gomez and 3 Doors Down. Tickets for the three shows will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 9.
“The 2011 Grandstand concert series has really come together and it offers something for everyone – rock, pop, hip hop and country music,” said Dan O’Hara, New York State Fair director who checked in with Mark Richards during the Lite 98.7 morning show.
R&B and hip hop artists Ne-Yo and Cee Lo Green will perform Friday, Aug. 26 at 7:30 p.m. at the Grandstand. Tickets will cost $55 and $45.
On Lie 98.7 you’ve heard ’Gnarls Barkley’ sing Crazy,well, that’s Cee Lo Green.He has won three Grammy Awards including Best Urban/Alternative Performance in 2011 as well as a Brit Award for Best International Male. Among his best known hits are “Forget You,” “It’s OK” and “Bright Lights Bigger City.” Cee Lo is also a vocal coach on the NBC reality talent contest “The Voice.”
Selena Gomez & the Scene with opening act Christina Grimmie presented by Kmart, will perform Saturday, Aug. 27 at 7 p.m. at the Grandstand. Tickets will cost $48 and $38.
Selena Gomez, an award-winning actress, singer-songwriter, musician and fashion designer. Selena also stars in the Emmy Award-winning Disney Channel original series “Wizards of Waverly Place.” Additionally, she has starred in television movies including ”Another Cinderella Story” and “Princess Protection Program.” She is a major force in social media with more than 22 million “likes” on Facebook and six million Twitter followers.
American rock band 3 Doors Down along with opening acts Saving Abel andSafety Suit will perform Sunday, Aug. 28 at 7:30 p.m. at the Grandstand. Tickets will cost $40 and $30.
Since forming in 1996, Mississippi rock quintet 3 Doors Down has sold more than 16 million albums worldwide, garnered three Grammy nominations, two American Music Awards, and five BMI Pop Awards for songwriting.
Tickets to all seven Grandstand concerts will be available at the New York State Fair Box Office on Saturday, July 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and through Ticketmaster. Admission to the Fair is included with the advanced purchase of a Grandstand concert ticket on the day of the show. For tickets to Ne-Yo and Cee Lo Green, Selena Gomez and 3 Doors Down, sales will be limited to eight tickets per person for the first week of ticket sales.
No one will be allowed to line up to buy tickets before 6 a.m. on July 9. Ticket sales will be cash only at the State Fair Box Office as long as there is a line of customers. Credit cards (MasterCard and Visa) will be accepted after the line is gone.
Fans can also buy tickets online through Ticketmaster.com or order and pay by phone by calling 1-800-745-3000 or 1-866-448-7849.
Tickets for people with special needs – including those who are hearing impaired, use a wheelchair or have difficulty climbing stairs – will go on sale at the same time as general seating tickets. They can be purchased through Ticketmaster or at the New York State Fair Box Office.
The Box Office, which charges no service fees, will be open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. beginning July 11.

The full lineup includes Train and Maroon 5 with opening act Gavin DeGraw on Aug. 25; Ne-Yo and Cee Lo Green on Aug. 26; Selena Gomez & The Scene with opening act Christina Gimmie on Aug. 27; 3 Doors Down with opening acts Saving Abel and SafetySuit on Aug. 28; Journey, Foreigner and Night Ranger on Aug. 30; Lady Antebellum with opening act Sunny Sweeny on Sept. 2; and Sugarland with opening act Sara Bareillus on Sept. 3.
