The Puppy Bowl Gets Big Ratings
You may recall I posted a few weeks ago that there is something else to watch other than the Superbowl. The Puppybowl!
It’s safe to say that you enjoyed the selection of puppies in the event so much that, you sent us pictures of your pets, and we really enjoyed them. Feel free to again skim through the gallery of our pets and yours. And as for the show,
Sunday’s Puppy Bowl was the most popular installment of the Animal Planet event in its seven-year history. The network arrived at the figure after counting its total viewers from the afternoon premiere and the subsequent five re-airings. The two-hour premiere drew 1.7 million viewers — up from 1.1 million last year. The show — basically, puppies frolicking with each other in a football field-like pen — has a become a popular alternative to the Super Bowl for animal lovers. Can’t wait for next years.
