Get ready to watch local celebrities (including Matt Hubbell and yours truly), get into wheelchairs and play a heated game of basketball against the Sitrin STARS athletes. The game is this Thursday (April 16) at the Utica College Clark Athletic Center. Doors open at 6pm, and tip-off is at 6:30pm.

I got a chance to talk with Marc DePerno, the Director of Sitrin STARS Adaptive Sports Program about the upcoming game. We talked about what you can expect as you watch the game, the difficulties that the STARS Athletes have faced - and overcome, and we talked about some of the other local celebrities that will be playing.

Again, the game is this Thursday. You can get tickets in advance by calling (315) 737 - 2406. Tickets will be available at the door. The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for students, and children under five get in for free. You can get more details, and everything you need to know about the Sitrin Celebrity Classic Wheelchair Basketball Game on Sitrin's website here.
