'The Voice' has been narrowed down to just six competitors, and coach Christina Aguilera has been "eliminated." No, don't you worry your pretty little heads, Aguilera herself is still sitting pretty -- albeit, with a really bad wig on tonight -- in her red chair, she just doesn't have any team members competing on the show anymore!

The singer even admitted that she was going to enjoy just sitting back and relaxing and being entertained from here on out, and said she was really, really feeling Cassadee Pope. Now is it us, or is the show really promoting the one-time singer of Hey Monday, who already has quite the large following? Fishy, fishy...

Team Cee Lo:

Nicholas David: Poor Cee Lo was out sick during the week of rehearsals, so he enlisted Pat Monahan from the band Train to help with his ingenues. Cee Lo did handpick the song 'September' by Earth, Wind, and Fire for David, though, but Nicholas' live performance was less than exciting, which is kind of unusual for the typically spot-on performer. It wasn't inspiring, it appeared that he lost his way during a portion of the song, but overall: not entertaining, which could hurt him in the end.

In a somewhat interesting and unexpected second song choice, David chose the classic 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow,' and from the rehearsal footage, we had a good feeling. He wanted to do his own take on the song, but he also wanted to keep the song original, because really, how could you destroy a classic? He gave a soulful performance of the song and during the chorus, it felt a bit reggae/Bob Marley inspired, which was different enough to appreciate but not so different that it'd destroy the song. It was a pretty rendition, one we'd happily play to help lull us to sleep, and we mean that in the best way possible.

Trevin Hunte: He sang 'Walking on Sunshine' for his first song and 'And I'm Telling You I'm Not Going' by Jennifer Hudson from 'Dreamgirls' as his second song. Click here to read the full recap of his two performances.

Team Blake:

Cassadee Pope: She sang 'Stand' by Rascal Flatts for her first song and 'I'm With You' by Avril Lavigne as her second song. Click here to read the full recap of her two performances.

Terry McDermott: We kind of hoped the rocker would venture out of rocker territory and try something new, but ... no. He chose 'I Want to Know What Love Is' by Foreigner. He decided to strip it down and "bare his soul" by performing it with just a piano accompanying him. Awesome decision. After weeks of waiting for a powerful performance, we finally got it tonight. His vocals were raw and gritty, and showed everyone why he's still in the competition, which he desperately needed to do. Rightfully so, he received a standing ovation from the coaches.

Second Performance: Coach Blake chose Terry's second song: 'Stay With Me' by Rod Stewart. "I feel really at home singing this one," said McDermott in his pre-taped interview. Descending from the audience stairs, he found himself in the middle of a crowd, clearly enjoying his surroundings, but his performance was a lot like his previous performances; it was nothing special. Yes, vocals were strong, but it was typical Terry. His first performance was far superior.

Team Adam:

Amanda Brown: Every single time Brown is announced to perform, it must be made known that she's a background singer. Yes ... we get it. But guess what? The girl has pipes, and choosing Aretha Franklin's 'You Make Me Feel Like a Natural Woman' may just be the smartest move she's made. In a pretty long sleeved, short sequined dress, the singer, dare we say, gave her best. Performance. To date. Did you hear those high notes at the end? Because they were just ridiculous. Even Blake Shelton couldn't find a single thing wrong with her performance.

Second Performance: It's no big surprise that 'Here I Go Again' by Whitesnake was her final performance of the night. She's made it no secret that she's a rocker at heart, and after her stellar performance of Aerosmith's 'Dream On,' why not try another? Her red leather outfit was questionable, but this isn't 'Project Runway,' is it? The grittiness of her voice made the song, and it's perfectly clear that rock is the genre she should stick with, but we're still coming off the high that was Trevin Hunte's performance.

Melanie Martinez: In a risky move, she opted to sing Cee Lo's song 'Crazy' with Gnarls Barkley. She wanted to do the song differently, similar to what she did to Britney Spears' 'Toxic' during the auditions round, but in the 17-year-old's case, it's difficult. Her voice, while unique, isn't strong and doesn't offer much range, so how different could she truly be from week to week? Aside from her hair of course, which is no longer black and blonde, but black and blue.

Second Performance: Her second song, 'The Show' by Lenka, unfortunately fell completely flat. The set was all kinds of ridiculous, with faux beach waves and a fake boat accompanying her on stage. It was essentially a  bad elementary school play that you can't get out of because your kid's in it. Instead of sounding mature, the entire performance made her appear like a young tween at her first talent show.

Tomorrow, two will go home. So until then ... get your voting fingers ready!
