Given that it pulled in some of the highest ratings the network has seen in recent years — and that it was quickly renewed for a second season — we already knew NBC was enamored with ‘The Voice.’

Now that the network has announced the premiere date for season two, we know just how much.

‘The Voice’ will return to the lineup on February 5, after the Super Bowl — arguably the choicest time slot on any network, all year ’round. The following night, it will move into its regular spot on the schedule, airing Mondays at 8  p.m. ET, where it’ll serve as the lead-in for NBC’s new musical drama, ‘Smash.’

All four ‘Voice’ judges will return for the second season, which isn’t surprising, considering that all of them have enjoyed a higher profile since joining the show: Blake Shelton recently debuted at number one with his latest album, ‘Red River Blue’; Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera joined forces for a buzzworthy duet, ‘Moves Like Jagger;’ and Cee Lo Green secured a role in the upcoming Wu-Tang Clan biopic, ‘C.R.E.A.M.’
