The World’s Biggest Game of Hide and Seek

Have you ever thought about what it would be like to just disappear? Drop off the face of the Earth? Vanish without a trace? We've seen it in thriller and spy movies, even heard about some folks trying to get away with it in the news. Well the Discovery Channel wants to try and do it now.

The Discovery Channel has green lighted a new show called "Disappeared", in which contestants try and vanish, leaving no trace. They can hide anywhere in the world. Meanwhile, highly trained investigators try and track them down, using a computer expert, a psychological profiler, and a U.S. Marshal. No word on what the contestant would win if they pull it off, or how they would let the contestant know they won if the investigators give up on finding them! If they don't know where they are, how could they?

Clark Bunting, Discovery Channel president and general manager says, "It’s a giant game of hide-and-seek with a fair amount of high-tech wizardry.” The show is scheduled to debut sometime in 2011.

I have to admit, I have thought about this. What what I do, where would I go? How would I make money to live? It's kind of like a thrilling adventure. But once reality sets back in, I settle down and watch Big Bang Theory on DVD. But what about you? Have you thought about it? Where would you go? What would you do?
