They Did Many Of There Own Stunts On ‘Chips’ [VIDEO]

Although stunt doubles were used for far-off shots and various stunt and action sequences in the popular TV show Chips, Larry Wilcox and Erik Estrada did a great deal of their own motorcycle riding. The big stunts were performed by the pros but many of the smaller stunts they did themselves.

Fortunately they would up relatively injury free, but once Erik Estrada suffered a huge bruise and scar that could be seen on his arm after he was flung from one of the motorcycles and skidded along the ground...ouch!
