Many of us are familiar with the 1990's, but there are a few things about the decade that we definitely don't miss. With the 90's now more than 20 years old, there's a lot of nostalgia happening. Fashion trends are coming back and TV and movies from the period being re-made(think Power Rangers).

Here's a quick list of things from the 1990's that we definitely don't miss:

Smoking inside

You couldn't go to a bar, restaurant or bowling alley without having your clothes stink like smoke for days afterward.

Nobody misses having to replace their light bulbs once a week. New technology like LED bulbs are better for the environment, more cost-effective and last forever compared to their ancestors(they use 25-35% or the energy of incandescent bulbs).

Giant 3.5 floppy discs

These things were bulky and barely had any storage space. Compare that to today, when you can get 100 gigabytes in a tiny flash drive.

Dial-up Internet and AOL

Just think of the noise the computer made when connecting....then you get kicked off because someone had the gall to call you on the land-line phone! Also, AOL's you've got mail voice got pretty annoying.

Dot-matrix printers

These took forever to print low-quality colorless pages. And the tear-off edges were a total pain to clean up.

Writing personal checks for everything

It's just so much easier to use your debit card nowadays, even with the new chip reader things are a lot faster and secure.

Pagers

I mean the worst right? Hold on I'm getting a page. It says 911, can I use your phone?

Do we really need to explain this one?

That's all we were able to come up with, but we would love to know your thoughts. What did we miss? Let us know in the comments or on our Facebook page!
