This Charming Utica Cafe Has a Name That Suits It To A “T”

I've been on a mission visiting various coffee shops and cafes all over Central New York.  I think I just discovered one of my favorites!

Earlier this week I stopped into Parkway Drugs on Albany Street in Utica to pick up a snack. While I was walking back to my car I noticed a little shop called "Mojos." I wasn't certain what they were all about so I decided to discover for myself. When I walked in the front door I was greeted by this cutie with a baby face.

What a charming little place! The ambiance, the service, and the food were all spectacular. I asked one of the servers what kind of sandwich I should try and she recommended "The Parkway." One bite of this little slice of heaven and I was in turkey paradise. The sandwich consists of smoked Gouda cheese, chipotle mayo, tomato, lettuce, bacon, and oven roasted turkey breast. It was delicious.

If you're a tea drinker, you won't be disappointed. Just look at all of the selections!

If you have a low tolerance for unfriendly customer service then Mojos Cafe is the right place for you and your friends to enjoy a hot beverage and some terrific food. I saw this sign behind the counter.

Carly and Melissa are the kind baristas who operate Mojos. They practice what they preach too. They were both very friendly and I could tell that they genuinely care for their patrons.

If its breakfast you're after, I hear they have a killer eggs benedict sandwich. They also serve up some of the best soups, salads, and desserts in the area. I've never been a fan of red velvet cake, but one bite of Mojos red velvet cheesecake may have changed my mind forever.
