$20,000 was up for grabs and you can see the anguish on the family members faces as they could tell it was dwindling away. This epic game show fail was recently broadcast but the Huffington Post does tells us:

Sass, the general manager of a PR agency, told The Huffington Post on Wednesday that the episode was actually shot last year, but its recent broadcast rekindled the memories.

Perhaps 'Family Feud' was considering not airing this particular episode fearing the public would find the show unsympathetic. I for one really enjoyed it because I think we all can identify with having cognitive failures in our life.
