Meet Miss Triss. This beautiful cat has been living at the Stevens-Swan Humane Society in Utica for more than 500 days. According to the staff, Triss is pretty sure she's Queen of, well, everything. Triss just wants a forever home where she can catnap in the sunshine.

We talked to our friends at the Humane Society, and they told us more about Triss:

Triss is a 3 1/2-year-old Female Domestic Short Haired Cat, she has been with us since 3/17/16. Her owner surrendered her because they could no longer keep her. Triss is a cat that thinks she is queen, she lives in the front office area and is one of the "Boss" kitties. She gets along with most other cats as long as they don't bother her but she does not like dogs. We don't recommend her for home with children under 5 because she only likes to be handled on her terms. Overall, she is a laid back cat that enjoys spending her day napping on the cat tree in front of the window. She is spayed, current on vaccines and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $80.

Share this with everyone you know; let's find Triss a home before the summer is over. A Queen deserves her very own kingdom.
