Multi-Platinum country rocker Jason Aldean s bringing his "My Kinda Party Tour" to the 2012 Great New York State Fair as part of the Grandstand concert series. At least we hope. If you went to get tickets this weekend, well, the previously announced on-sale ticket date of Saturday, May 19 for Jason Aldean at the State Fair Grandstand has been postponed.
State Fair officials hope that a new on-sale release date will be announced within the upcoming weeks for both of the announced Grandstand acts: Jason Aldean with opener Luke Bryan performing on Aug. 31 and Keith Urban with opening act David Nail performing on Aug. 24.

The concert will start at 7:30 pm on Friday, Aug. 31 at the State Fair Grandstand. Ticket prices are $65, $55 or $45, and will include your admission to the Fairgrounds if purchased prior to the date of the concert. It is anticipated that the tickets will go on sale on Saturday, May 19, 2012.
 
"Jason Aldean is one of the top artists in country music today," said Dan O'Hara, New York State Fair director. "We think this a great start to kick off the Grandstand announcements for the 2012 Fair."
