Tips For Getting Dressed
As a guy I’m very lucky that it only takes me a handful of minutes to get dressed. It’s never a big ordeal. For women it can be a bit longer and a big challenge. Need some help?
Marie Claire’s fashion director Nina Garcia has a new book out called Look Book: What to Wear for Every Occasion. She shares these key style rules to follow every day:

- Prepare for the unexpected. Stay on your toes since everyone has a camera and photos end up on Facebook in minutes! Ask yourself: “If someone takes a photo of me, will I be OK with it being online?” If not, change your look!
- Do something surprising. Mix things up by pairing different and unique fabrics, colors and textures. If you wear black, add striking color. Try to create an unusual silhouette.
- Style is like a muscle: you have to exercise it regularly or you’ll lose it. Being super-stressed or busy is no excuse to let go of your look. The more you wear worn-out T-shirts and sweats, the less you’ll be able to pull yourself together when you need to. Take pride in how you look, even on those days you’re just hanging around the house.
