You might want to do a little cleaning on your phone, whatever kind you have.   Toilet seats actually have less germs than cellphones do.  Can that really be true?

Yes, says Microboiologist Charles Gerba.  He tells LiveScience.com that toilet seats are cleaned alot but most phones are rarely if ever cleaned.  People think of germs when they think of a toilet seat but phones carry ten times more bacteria than most toilet seats.  The problem, according to Gerba, is when people share phones.  That's when it goes from a single set of germs to more.  Phones and toilet seats are the only germ spots to look out for.  Other germ laden items include elevator buttons, shopping carts, remote controls, ATMs and office phones.  Hey, where's that Lysol when I need it?
