Top 5 Valentine’s Day Drinking Games

Every holiday is an excuse to drink but this one especially as we’re all drowning away our sorrows for either being cursed with singleness, or for us guys getting accidentally in trouble for not being mushy enough or getting the wrong thing (or nothing) for our women. I mean we show our love all year round right? Here are a couple of drinking games I cooked up to distract you from your loneliness, doghouse blues or to get you closer to your s/o or that banging hottie you’ve been eyeballing across the room…

Tears & Beers

Girls, grab all of your single pallies and flip on Lifetime Movie Network or put in ‘the Notebook’ or some other chick flick (guys, watching alone is major points if it’s just you and her) and every time there is a kiss or somebody cries or screams reach for the liquor. Good luck making it the through the whole movie without getting hammered (or for couples, otherwise… distracted)

Facebook, You Suck!

Facebook can make you feel like a king or queen on your birthday, but whether you’re hitched or not, love statuses tend to gross us all out, so every time someone posts a FB status that they absolutely love their significant other (or pet) ‘soooooo much’ blah blah blah blah… chug a beer. Then puke. Not from the beer. Modify this game by taking differing amounts of alcohol depending on the sappiness of the post… Gag. You’re sure to get drunk or just legit sick in mere minutes.

Lip Lock Mind Block

Even though the misteltoe is long gone by now, people suck face like crazy on this holiday so maybe any time you see someone press lips, it’s time to let some alcohol pass yours: you determine how much based on how long or passionate the kiss is or how much you need to drink in order to forget what you just saw…

Musical Shots

Blindfold someone and put them in the middle of a circle of people of the opposite sex. Start the music, pass around a shot amongst the circle and as soon as the music stops the girl or guy holding the shot cues the blindfolded contestant with a cheer and they must take the shot from the person in front of them in whatever way the chose (blindfold still on). Repeat until there are no more people (or shots) in the circle. Lots of modification opportunity here, like rejoining the circle if you want another go around with that hot girl or guy in the center or adding more perks in addition to shots. Have fun with this!

Strip Or Sip

Basically a variation on Truth Or Dare only the dares are planned for you, you either spill the beans, remove an article of clothing or take a shot of liquor that you can’t stand. Of course if the alcohol ‘mysteriously’ runs out, then this game becomes a precursor to the best V-day ever…
