Do you have any songs that completely motivate you to get your rear in gear and workout? I know I sure do!

We all know exercise isn’t the most enjoyable part of our day, but we always seem to feel accomplished once we’re finished. It’s getting started that’s the problem! Whenever I find myself feeling sluggish, I go to my workout playlist, plug in my headphones and grab some motivation!

Here are my top 5 favorite workout songs

1. “Shut Up and Dance - Walk the Moon

This song is totally awesome! Not only does it have one heck of a catchy beat, but it’s a super fun song to blast and sing to. It literally makes me want to shut up and dance!

2. “Firework” - Katy Perry

This song is an oldie, but a goodie. It’s all about empowerment, self-love, motivation, and girl power. This is usually the first song I listen to. It’s a feel good tune and I always get inspired when I listen to it.

3. “Happy” - Pharrell Williams

How can you not want to get up and move when you hear this song? It’s just so…happy! It really gets me in a fabulous mood and makes me feel so great about myself.

4. “Girl on Fire” - Alicia Keys

Much like “Firework”, this song is absolutely perfect to work out to. Whenever I begin to feel tired and want to throw in the towel, this is the greatest song to re-motivate me. It boosts my confidence and it’s so great to sing to!

5. “Try” - Pink

Pink is a fantastic artist to end your workout with. For me, this song sums up my entire workout routine. It gives me the motivation to try harder and keep going the next day. I Love it!
