We always spotlight some of the great mountains in the Adirondacks to ski and snowboard on, but here in Central New York we have plenty of options as well. Here's a look at some of the top ski and snowboarding spots.

Greek Peak

Greek Peak Mountain Resort is a ski resort located near Cortland. Greek is home of a vertical drop of 952 feet, Greek Peak offers day and night skiing 7 days a week from late December until mid March.

 

Snow Ridge

Snow Ridge is located in Turin. This is placed nicely right in the middle of the Tug Hill Plateau. Skiers and snowboarders can enjoy 22 trails accessed by 6 lifts and tons of backcountry ski acreage as well.

 

Labrador Mountain

Labrador Mountain has an average annual snowfall of around 130 inches. Here you will find 22 trails on 250 skiable acres. Labrador has one triple, two doubles, and one surface lift.

 

Song Mountain

Song Mountain offers a variety of advanced, intermediate or beginner terrain for skiers and boarders. Song Mountain season pass holders can ski or snowboard at Snow Ridge Ski Area.

 

Toggenburg Mountain

Toggenburg Mountain Winter Sports Center is located on Toggenburg Road just off NY Rt. 80, it is one mile east of the Village of Fabius, and just 30 minutes from Syracuse or Cortland. Toggenburg has 21 trails, including two terrain parks, serviced by five lifts.
