Tornado Crosses the New York State Thruway [VIDEO]

Tornadoes in Upstate New York are relatively rare, but they do happen.  A strong line of thunderstorms on Sunday, September 4 delivered a tornado to the eastern Mohawk Valley near Amsterdam.

A motorist on the New York State Thruway pulled over to the Mohawk rest area to ride out the storm; and, as she writes on her YouTube channel, she “ got much more than [she] bargained for.”
