If you're anything like us, you were pretty bitter when, during the otherwise flawless plot of Disney/Pixar's masterpiece Toy Story 3, cowboy toy Woody's one true love, ceramic figurine (Little) Bo Beep, was left out. In fact, not only was she left out of the story, but her absence was glazed over completely in an insultingly brief exposition that pretty much dismissed her status in the character canon of the film series. In other words, we still haven't gotten over it. (How could you do this to us, Disney/Pixar!? We were rooting for you!)

But it seems retribution is upon us, Disney fans. Not only has the existence of Toy Story 4 been confirmed at Disney's D23 Expo convention on Friday, but general plot details were also revealed by Disney Chief Creative Office and Pixar legend John Lasseter during the Pixar Panel.

“We made a pinky promise to each other that we would not make another ’Toy Story’ unless we found a story that was worthy,” Lasseter said to the crowd, adding that not only did they find a story that was worthy, but that the story will actually focus on Woody and his BFF space-man Buzz Lightyear as they go an an adventure to search for Bo Beep in order to bring her home—and back into Woody's arms, right where she belongs.

While other details of the script were kept under wraps at the expo, we do know that it was penned by Rashida Jones and Will McCormack (Celeste and Jesse Forever) and that Randy Newman will return to score the music. Toy Story 4 will be released June 16, 2017, proving that love conquers all.
