The basic plot of the movie according IMDB.com:

IRREFUTABLE PROOF is a powerful, unrelenting tale of good versus evil treated in a a psychological thriller style that will keep the audience on edge. Laced with unpredictable twists and turns, the characters inhabit a world filled with mystery, tragedy, and, ultimately, triumph. Our heroine, Jeanine Markham, a world renowned astrophysicist is a truth-seeker. Her journey is shrouded with dark unexplainable events that creates a whirlwind of tumultuous emotions and terrifying events. Her quest is a struggle as old as human consciousness. For Jeanine’s husband, Noel, and many people, faced with her irrefutable proof that we’re alone in the universe, that no deity hears or answers our prayers nor punishes our sins, that humanity is entirely the product of random events, that we face certain annihilation in death, and that our sufferings, indeed our lives and loves are ultimately pointless – all of this and more is utterly unimaginable to those who refuse to believe the facts

Movie profits will go to diabetes research and treatment at Upstate Hospital.
