TripAdvisor Names Water Safari One of the Best in America

TripAdvisor has released their list of the top 25 water parks in the country and wouldn't you know it - Water Safari made the list again.

We already know how great and fun Enchanted Forest Water Safari is. I mean, most Central New Yorkers make their way to the water theme park at least once during the summer, we even give away tickets throughout the summer on Lite 98.7. But now, everyone will know how great Water Safari is... again. They've made the list of TripAdvisor's Top 25 Water Parks in the United States more than once.

You've probably heard the news because of the Good Morning America video going around, showing the top 10 of TripAdvisor's list. Maybe you saw the post on the Enchanted Forest Water Safari Facebook Page, where they thanked their fans, visitors, and workers, and announced they were named a 2018 Travelers' Choice Award Winner. Either way, they were named and it's pretty cool to have such a cool attraction, right in our backyard.

If you didn't hear the good news yet (besides reading it in this post), here's what you need to know:

- TripAdvisor named the Top 25 Water Parks in the United States, and Enchanted Forest Water Safari came in at the number 10 spot. Not too bad, eh?

- They were named a Traveler's Choice Award Winner, which is the highest recognition you can get on TripAdvisor. TripAdvisor names their Traveler's Choice winners every year in a variety of categories.

- Water Safari was also a Traveler's Choice Award Winner in 2015, where they were named the 14th best water park in the country.

- Water Safari was also on the list of the best water parks in the country on the Travel Channel in 2016.

Pretty cool, right?! It's nice when some of our great features and attractions right here in New York, get national attention. If you haven't made your way to Enchanted Forest Water Safari yet this summer, it's not too late. Water Safari in Old Forge is open every day until Monday, September 3rd (Labor Day). From now until August 19th the park is open from 10am to 6:30pm. After August 19th the hours of operation change as they start to wind down for the year.
