A Marine veteran who became disabled while fighting for our freedom in Afghanistan returned home and married the love of his life.

This story is awesome on so many levels I'm not sure where to begin.  I don't tear up easy, especially when it comes to love stories, but this one hit me hard. After this touching tale grabbed my heartstrings, I grabbed a Kleenex. According to CNN:

While serving on an assignment in Afghanistan, Marine Cpl. Juan Dominguez landed on a buried bomb after slipping down an embankment and lost both of his legs and his right arm in an explosion.

On the way to the hospital, things looked bleak and dark. In fact, Dominguez wondered if he would die. He underwent multiple painful surgeries and dozens of distressing therapy sessions before things looked hopeful again.

Then this happened.

How can we possibly repay our veterans for all they have done for us? Their sacrifice, their courage, their fortitude, and their love for our country are just a few of the notable characteristics of our brave men and women in the armed forces.

This holiday season we're saying thank you to all who are currently serving by giving military families a chance to win $500 in gifts with Townsquare Cares.

Just Jenn and I talked about this hero's big day today.
