My name is Dave and I have a problem. Weird stuff makes me cry. At least, that's what Beth thinks.

The latest trigger moment was inevitable. Someone found a previously unreleased song from the late Tom Petty and now it's making the rounds...including on the Beth & Dave morning show on Lite 98.7. The first time I heard it, Thursday morning, July 12, 2018, I had no chance, it made my eyes well up with tears.

Petty, in my opinion, is one of the greatest song writers and most unique performers of all time. So, his untimely death, combined with the sound of his songs and the promise of more great artistry that was never realize...the crying begins.

I also cry during "100 Years" by Five for Fighting, because, you know, life is so short and we all need to appreciate it.

That scene in "Field of Dreams" where Kevin Costner plays catch with his ghost father. That makes me cry.

That scene in "Shawshank Redemption" where Tim Robbins escapes and raises his arms in triumph after years of unfair imprisonment. Anything where a downtrodden hero wins and gains redemption over the bad guy. That makes me cry.

Anyone who reminds me of my Grandpa George makes me cry.

Beth says it's ODD. I think it's pretty normal. What do you think?
