Today marks the 70th anniversary of D-Day and the Allied invasion of Normandy. Sadly, thousands of our soldiers lost their lives in the invasion and many who survived have since passed on. Jim "Pee Wee" Martin jumped with the 101st  70 years ago and now he's marked this historic milestone with another Normandy jump, just like the one he did June 6, 1944.

Martin says he doesn't feel exceptional for being part of the D-Day invasion and is humbled by all the attention. Why jump again at the tender age of 93? For the thrill and to prove that being old doesn't mean you still can't do exciting things.

Martin may think what he and the others did during D-Day wasn't exceptional but history proves him wrong. He and his fellow soldiers were exceptional and will always be remembered for the sacrifices they so selflessly made.  We honor them, remember them and thank them 70 years later. Truly inspirational.
