People magazine has just given us the sad news. Actress Valerie Harper, best known to us for her memorable '70s role of Rhoda Morgenstern on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" is gravely ill. The Mary Tyler Moore Show featuring Valerie was so popular that she did a spin-off show, "Rhoda." Sadly, after fighting a battle with lung cancer in 2009, now she has been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer.

"I don't think of dying, I think of being here now."

Valerie told People magazine. Also they report;

Valarie Harper underwent tests that revealed she has a condition known as leptomeningeal carcinomatosis, and has been told by doctors that she could have as little as three months to live. "I've had a good run, What more could I ask for?"

She learned of her current condition on Jan. 15 of this year.
