If you've ever wanted to meet an Olympic medalist up close and personal, here's your chance.

Olympic medalist Nancy Kerrigan will be visiting the Capital region this week. Kerrigan won two Olympic medals, but might be even better remembered for the incident with Tonya Harding, when Kerrigan was attacked by associates of Harding. That event was made into a 2017 Netflix movie, 'I, Tonya', starring Margot Robbie.

Kerrigan is a two-time medalist at the Olympics. Kerrigan won a bronze medal in the 1992 Albertville Winter Olympics and the silver medal at the 1994 Lillehammer Winter Olympics.

If you'd like to see Kerrigan in person, on Thursday, February 7 from 4 p.m. until 5 p.m. Kerrigan will be at the Empire State Plaza Ice Rink in Albany. According to ABCNews10, "Kerrigan's appearance at the Plaza is sponsored by Office of General Services, I LOVE NY, At the Plaza Events, and the Aurora Games, a new international, world-class, all-women's multi-sport competition and entertainment festival that will be held in Albany this August."
