This Wednesday night is the perfect night to head out to a Utica Blue Sox Game, and by doing so you'll be helping out a great cause for women's health.

This Wednesday, July 12th, the Utica Blue Sox will host the Saugerties Stallions at Donovan Stadium (at Murnane Field). The game will start at 6:35pm.

This isn't going to be your average everyday type of game, however. Wednesday is "TEAL Night." So what does that mean exactly?

Well, "TEAL" stands for "Tell Every Amazing Lady" - And it's all about bringing awareness and starting a conversation with women about ovarian cancer. They will have a booth set up at the game that will have registration forms if you would like to sign up for the walk in September (You can get more details on the walk at the bottom of this page). They will also have addition information on ovarian cancer.

Ovarian cancer survivor Lori Ford, will be throwing out the first pitch for the game. In January 2016, Lori was diagnosed with Stage I Ovarian Cancer. After surgery and six rounds of chemotherapy she is now in remission. And she's proud to stand by the TEAL Walk and organization to help spread the word about this dangerous disease.

Tickets to the game are still their original price, $4 to get in. Stop by and catch a great game of baseball in Utica... And while you're there, you can be a part of great cause!
