The Utica Comets are back in action, and there's a new video to inspire and excite!

The Utica Comets are back on the ice, and there's a fresh video on the web that is helping to get us pumped up for another stellar season.

Just how many nail biting, edge of our seat, last minute wins did our hometown Utica Comets post last season?  Well they're not called the "Cardiac Comets" for no reason at all; according to  Canucks.AHL.com:

Last year the Comets played in a league high 44 one-goal games. During the 2013-14 season the Comets were one of three teams (Norfolk Admirals, Providence Bruins) to play in a league high 46 one-goal games. The Comets had the second most one-goal game wins with a record of 24-13-5-4 during that season.

Nicklas Jensen is already off to an excellent start. He scored the Comets only goal in their season opener against Rochester. Joe Cannata had an impressive 20 saves for Utica but that wasn't enough to secure a victory.

The Comets hope to avenge themselves against the team who beat them when they face off in their home opener on October 21st.

Just in case you forgot what it sounds like when the Comets score a goal.
