Utica Mayor Rob Palmieri annouced on his Facebook profile this morning that the City of Utica's Urban Renewal Agency is holding a first ever 'Winter Sale.'  Certain vacant lots of city-owned property will be sold for just $250.

In the release, Mayor Palmieri laid out the conditions of the sale.

Currently the minimum purchase price for a vacant residential lot is $750 for the property, plus Developers Fees and Recording Fees.

From now until May1st all residential lots adjacent to an occupied residence will be sold to the homeowner for a reduced price of $250.00, (A savings of $500.00) subject to the buyer meeting all applicable terms and conditions relative to the purchase of the vacant lot.

The Urban Renewal Agency will set a long-term price for city-owned vacant lots after the conclusion of the sale after May 1.
