Utica Police Department Wants New Recruits

Would you like to become a member of the Utica Police Department?  If you are at least 19, and will be under the age of 35 on November 19th, and are a legal resident of Oneida, Herkimer, Madison, Oswego, Lewis or Otsego counties, you may be who they are looking for to join their ranks.

The next police offer exam will be held on November 19th.  The eligible list from that exam will be used to fill vacancies as they open.

Applications for the exam must be filed by October 5th.  At that time, candidates must be a high school graduate or holder of a high school equivalency diploma.  They must also hold a state driver's license.
