Utica Schools Conducting A Practice Two-Hour Delay
October 20, 2011 9:33 AM On Friday, October 28th, the Utica City School District will conduct a practice two-hour School Delay. This means school will begin two hours from the normal start time. This delay schedule would be used only during inclement weather or during unforeseen circumstances warranting a delay in the normal start of the school day.
All students and staff are to report to school or are to be picked up by the bus two hours later than normal. Custodial and Security staff are asked to report at their normal schedule.
All students are to report to their homerooms. No breakfast will be served on a two-hour delay and this is for Utica Public Schools, not for parochial schools. The Superintendent of schools and us here at Lite 98.7 encourage all parents to have an emergency plan for their children in case of an actual two-hour delay or an early dismissal.
