There's just something about being at the Utica Zoo after hours, checking out the animals, listening to live music, and enjoying a cold one.

It's back for its 19th year, the Utica Zoo presents "Brewfest" on Saturday, August 5th from 6p to 9p. There will be over 100 craft beers on tap, plus food samples and live music throughout the fundraising event. There will even be a silent auction, and of course all the fun you'll have walking around the zoo, checking out the animals, and indulging in your adult beverage.

You won't want to wait to get your tickets. Ticket prices increase at the door, so definitely think about getting them in advance. You'll also not want to wait to get into the Utica Zoo on August 5th because the first 3,000 attendees get a commemorative pint glass.

Tickets are not available at certain Central New York retailers yet, but they will be as we get closer to the event. We'll keep you updated once this information becomes available. But you CAN get your tickets now online. General Admission tickets are $35. If you're a member of the zoo you can get in for $30 (but you must enter your email address as the "promotional code" when buying tickets to get the discount). There are also tickets available for designated drivers. You can get your tickets now at: UticaZoo.org/Brew

All the proceeds from Brewfest go to the Utica Zoo.
