Utica Zoo announces the birth of baby animals. It’s especially awesome when the babes are as cute as these ones.

The proud momma and poppa hyena are originally from the small island country of Bahrain; nearly 6500 miles from Utica. The parents can't contain their joyful
laughter because their babies are just so darn loveable!

The zoo is leaving it up to the public to decide the names of the baby boy and girl. Three boy names and three girl names have been selected by zoo officials. All you have to do is place a little money in the bin (at the zoo) labeled with the name you like. According to the Utica Zoo:

On August 1st the male and female bins with the most money donated will be announced at the Utica Zoo’s annual Brewfest event. Donations will go towards the conservation of Hyena species in the wild, and help the Utica Zoo upgrade and maintain their exhibit. Female names are Imara (Swahili for strong), Adaeze (Igbo for princess), and Jelani (Swahili for mighty), and the male names are Kani (Swahili for strength), Tambo (Swahili for vigorous), and Kamau (Swahili for quiet warrior).

Just Jen and I talked about these little babies this morning.
