Next month is Autism Awareness Month and the Kelberman Center is hosting its annual Walk for Autism events held in several communities in our area.

Autism affects one out of sixty-eight children. Autism awareness is a way to bring the community together to help raise funds and celebrate the victories we've seen in making autism more manageable. The funds raised will also help to provide additional services to those affected by autism.

Round up your friends and family members and join in one of the Walks. They're being held all over the Mohawk Valley during the month of April. Walk events will feature refreshments, music, prizes, and an opportunity to meet up with others who are brought together by this common cause.

If you'd like to participate in one of the Walks, visit the Kelberman Center's website to download a pledge form. You can also call them at 315-797-6241, or email them at  walkforautism@kelbermancenter.org.
